Vibration motors

Vibration motors are a special variation in the design of DC electric motors. In such structures, a weight is most often placed on the motor shaft, which causes an asymmetry of the mechanical load. When voltage is applied to the motor, the motor shaft is allowed to rotate and the weight on the shaft causes a centrifugal force that causes the motor to vibrate appreciably.
